WHAT YOU LEARN FROM THE COURSE
Develop spatial plans, colour schemes, finishing concepts & sample boards for presentation
Generate plans & elevations for inclusion in the Design Contract
Attendance is one full day per fortnight at which each student is presented with the appropriate study unit/s for that day. Students, with the assistance of Judith Molyneux, shall then address the criteria in those specific units. Over the following two weeks between classes, each student is required to complete all assessment criteria required, either at home or in the workplace.
It is essential for each student to fully understand the knowledge and skills required to become competent as a residential decorator or designer. At the completion of the course studied, graduates shall have a portfolio of their skills and knowledge for presentation to future employers and a “Certificate of Attainment” as evidence of all units successfully studied. Courses are limited to six students only.
Recommend and select fabrics and soft furnishings.
Recommend window treatments and floor coverings for quotations and installation.
