New Course – ‘One Day Home Décor & Design’
The Judith Molyneux School of Decor and Design is pleased to announce that the new ‘One Day Home Décor & Design Course’ is open for applications.
Combining a variety of the most functional and applicable aspects of other interior design courses, the one-day course aims to teach you the fundamentals of interior design, covering the following elements;
Learn the theory of colour and how to develop and implement colour in home design to enhance your interior and exterior home environments.
Learn how to harness your available windows from both aesthetic and functional perspectives. Learn from the course leader, what windows to select, why and how to choose the right dressings for your home.
An integral part of the interior look & feel of a home, the care and finish of your flooring is critical in ensuring the correct design elements are adhered to, allowing for longevity and lasting beauty of the interior. Learn what styles work, and how to select the correct finish for various areas in the home.
Our personalities shine through in our choices of accessories and furnishings. How we chose to select and display our home can tell a lot about us- learn the basics of composition, light display and focus.
Kitchen Design (ADDITIONAL COURSE)
The kitchen is the most loved room in the house- and it is essential that it is designed around the user. In this additional offering from Judith Molyneux, attendees will learn the basics of what works, and what doesn’t- arming them with the capabilities to make informed decisions with their own kitchen redesign projects.
ABOUT THE COURSE PRESENTER
Judith Molyneux is an Accredited Professional Member of the Design Institute of Australia and a Workplace Trainer and Assessor BSZ40198. Judith has worked as a professional interior designer for over 30 years. Judith’s work has been well published over the years and she continues to teach and practice interior design on a professional basis. Following completion of the seminar each attendee shall receive chapters from Judith’s Guidebook relating to the above.
